the Pitch

In 3D We Trust!

We explored the possibilities of 3D to represent Microsoft’s mission: support companies in their digital transformation. We follow the journey of a person materialized by a cube which, through encounters and exchanges, changes in shape and connects to the world around him.

the Brief:

How to reshape the future after the Covid-19 crisis? For a 100% digital Microsoft Connection Forum event, held on 16 and 17 of July 2020, we developed specific visual guidelines, a campaign-kit, and a 3D video rooted in a powerful storytelling: the urge, after such turmoil, to gather with people (through a digital event).

Storyboard

1. Individual

a transparent cube emerges from the immaculate and opaque whole.

2. The group

More cubes and parallelepipeds show up and are positioned around the transparent cube

3. Fusion

They turn into a much more solid, compact and bigger cube

4. The path

The cube changes shape into a stripe, as the symbol of the road we are taking together

5. Growth

Eventually, the stripe grows and consolidates. Microsoft Connexion Forum logo appearance ends up the journey
